Founded by two seasoned sports & entertainment attorneys, Field2Fame has the unique ability to understand the complexities and nuances of these industries. We regularly provide strategic advice and support to athletes, sports teams, entertainment companies, and music industry professionals.

Tamara Dadd Alan and Nancy Eckert are Nashville-based attorneys, with a combined 40+ years of experience in sports, entertainment and corporate law. In addition to serving as trusted advisors to award-winning recording artists and professional athletes, this powerhouse duo are also experienced professional sports team owners. In 2024, Tamara and Nancy, alongside former NFL coach Jeff Fisher, led the ownership group that revived the Nashville Kats team, bringing pro arena football back to Music City.

TAMARA DADD ALAN

  • With a strong foundation in marketing from the University of Alabama and a law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law, Tamara has carved out a dynamic career in sports, entertainment, and advocacy. Launching her professional journey in Nashville, she quickly earned a reputation as a trusted entertainment attorney, artist representative, and record label owner—advising creatives and managing talent with a deep understanding of the industry's legal and business landscapes.

    Tamara’s passion for sports has always run parallel to her entertainment work. In 2010, she co-founded The Kevin Turner Foundation after learning her former classmate and NFL fullback Kevin Turner had been diagnosed with ALS. Her advocacy helped elevate national awareness around the connection between contact sports and neurodegenerative diseases. She collaborated closely with NFL Hall of Famer Mike Ditka on player safety initiatives and became a fixture at the Super Bowl through co-hosting the star-studded “Ditka & Jaws Cigars with the Stars” charity event.

    From advising artists and athletes behind the scenes to championing athlete health on the front lines, Tamara continues to lead with impact and integrity. Her career reflects a rare blend of legal knowledge, business savvy, and heartfelt commitment to the people behind the headlines—whether on stage, on screen, or on the field.

NANCY ECKERT

  • Nancy is a powerhouse in the world of sports and entertainment, bringing over 20 years of experience in legal affairs, business development, operations, and brand marketing. A former Division I scholarship athlete at the University of Miami, FL (swimming), she has parlayed her competitive drive and deep understanding of high-performance environments into a dynamic career at the intersection of athletics, entertainment, and law.

    In 2007, Nancy founded Verge Legal, a boutique law firm specializing in sports, entertainment, and corporate law. Under her leadership, Verge Legal has become a trusted advisor to a wide range of clients, including Grammy nominated recording artists, professional athletes, sports teams, production companies, and emerging ventures within the entertainment and tech spaces.

    Known for her strategic and forward-thinking approach, Nancy not only delivers wise legal counsel but also serves as a business consultant, helping clients scale, structure, and protect their ventures. Her unique blend of legal precision and business acumen has positioned her as a go-to resource for startups, established brands, and high-profile talent navigating the fast-paced and ever-evolving landscape of sports and entertainment.
